Hi Eric,

As you can see from my signature block, I am a devotee of PL/I. The
PL/I Toolkit for OS/2 contains a very nice visual builder. The Win32
version for NT and 9* is about to go into wide beta.

If you like Pascal, you will probably enjoy PL/I for clean, regular
syntax.

Also, it has excellent encapsulation facilities, exception handling,
built-in multi-threading, built-in ISAM, built-in relative record
files, superlative macro facilities, bit manipulation, self-defining
data structures are permitted, and polymorphism has been part of the
language for over 25 years. It doesn't have inheritance hierarchies,
but I regard that as a plus.
