You're on the same side of 'The Pond' as me, so I could 
suggest you contact Barry James at Everglades for some
of the more exotic species. He advertises in most of
the UK based magazines.

Something which I've noticed is the Europe-N. America link
has been a bit flaky recently, indeed I chucked an 'Am I 
getting out' a week or so back. There was no mail in the
echo in my packets, for 4-5 days which would be /most/ 
unusual. May be you hit a hole?
