Just thought I'd point you toward a file in the "commodore
¨communications" menu which shows you how to build a UART based cart.
¨for the 64.  It's a set of files for GEOS.  If you cant use GEOS and ¨are
interested (ie can construct electronics projects) drop me a ¨reply and
