Yes;  although the PIO controller must wait for each i/o, os/2 can start a
dma transfer on the SCSI controller (and wait for the 'completed' interrupt
in the meantime).

Good point.  I think Mike had a better suggestion,  but I haven't used it
myself (ioctl cat 8, DSK_GETLOGICALMAP)
