Hi Alex!
AD> Seriously, Genesis has been officially dead for 11 years (in my book,
AD> at least).
?? Genesis are dead since 1986 (Invisible Touch)? Then you missed the
album "We Can't Dance" (1991) and the following live albums.
AD> And, IMNSHO, the probability of them pulling a Rush and
AD> making a decent album is not great.
I hope the album will be great - as I said, I like the clips I have heard,
and a few fans have had the opportunity to listen to the whole album, and
they liked it - so I think the chances are good.
But I won't judge until I have heard everything.
AD> However, what if Tony and Mike would just forget the singer and make an
AD> all-instrumental album?
The idea would not be bad - in fact, they considered going on as an
instrumental group after Peter Gabriel left in 1975. And I think Tony's
best solo stuff are the instrumentals.
Well, we'll see what the new album ("Calling All Stations") will be like.
See you,
   Henning
