It was an encouraging day for the Jaguar Racing team today as all three
drivers, Mark Webber (27), Christian Klien (21) and Bj†rn Wirdheim (23)
took to the track for the first time today at the new Gulf Air Bahrain
Grand Prix Circuit. While track temperatures soared above fifty degrees,
both the teams and the drivers had their work cut out to come to terms
with the new track as quickly as possible. 

Christian Klien, although
struggling with balance in the morning, produced a good lap near the
end of the second session, placing him in 5th position with a time of
1:31.789. Not far behind him was team-mate Mark Webber in 8th place with
a time of 1:32.041. Third driver Bj†rn Wirdheim spent the day working on
tyres, producing a time of 1:34.317 and a 21st place.
