Audi took over in force on the second day of the common test at the
Automotodrom Brno, the top three spots on the time sheet taken up by the
2004 A4. Mattias Ekstr†m led the way, setting a best of 1:54.252, followed
by Tom Kristensen and Frank Biela. The trio were within just a couple of
tenths of each other.

Gary Paffett was fourth fastest in the new Mercedes C-Class, just a tenth
behind Biela. Bernd Schneider was the second C-Class driver, sixth, and the
pair of year old CLKs, Stefan M¯cke and Jarek Janis, completed the times in
ninth and tenth.
