I pulled the new food back for a better time. It's been so hot and humid
here that she is even having a hard time with her normal (past) diet. Even I
didn't feel like eating. She has been a very slender, persnickity bird.
Nervous and hyper ... always looking for trouble ... . Years ago when we
were deciding upon what species of parrot we were going to get, we saw a fat
amazon vegitating on a perch in a local pet store. That bird never moved day
after day. So we did some research and found the grey to be a more
'challenging' bird. Never regret the reseach we put in ... time and effort
well spent.

Just be sure to tell Monica no fingers that look like perches ... she'll know
what we mean ...
