She had a different video card in it,  I think.  I remember that 25-pin
monitor connector,  now that you mention it.  It'd probably be possible to
make it work with more standard monitors if you wanted to make a cable, 
I'd guess.

Probably.  Mostly I used it to just play tapes and audio CDs.  I hadn't
really gotten going with recording stuff at the point when that thing went
bad.
