ONly correction I'll make to that is that Janis is not
"former" z1 coordinator, but is still z1 coordinator.
As you know if you look through TOm's echolist you see my
name listed as mod of a few echoes as well.

Call it quasi official, as recognized by the following:

TO add any echo to the backbone a confirmation message from
the echolist robot must be shown;

tHe echolist does get a special 1:1/21 address;

sysops will use it to determine the rightful moderator of an echo for
purposes of deciding to honor an access cut.
