"Unrectified" doesn't fit the situation, as that's a necessary
element to be able to plug it into the wall and call the output
"DC".
"Unregulated", which is common to many wall-warts, would mean the
output voltage with no load might be as high as 18 Volts for a 12 Volt unit
with no load or a very light load.
"Unfiltered", also common to many wall-warts, means that there
will be some pulses called 'ripple', but certainly no negative spikes that
would kill an amp.
Of course, all of the above assumes that the wall-wart is functioning correctly...
