The one thing it doesn't do is let you set the up/download paths and I
will admit that's my biggest beef with it.

My secondary BBS supports SSH connections.  Also has bluewave and qwk
support etc.  I just haven't added fidonet to it yet.  It's on my list
of things I want to do but am just too darn lazy to do.

More time on my hands now as I'm looking for work.  Couldn't handle
the abuse from the new manager anymore.

Not a thing.  Synchterm probably has more features then anything else.
I used it for years.  Still have it installed.
