We have two baby Jendays now! Baby #2 hatched last Saturday. Mama Rio is
taking good care of both kids, even though having two is not normal for
her (last time she had two babies was 1993). She fusses over them
constantly, and "chitters" at them (sounds like she's giggling) day and
night. I think she's telling them stories. The older one's eyes are just
starting to open (he's a week old today). Getting close to banding age,
I think--I'd better track down the bands and keep them handy!
It's so neat to hear babies in the house again! I didn't realize how
much I missed it!
