subject: Can OS/2 Warp 4 and Win95 be networked??23:03:1603/27/98

Andrew Leary said in a message to Doug Neeson:
AL> 4. Use the same user ID and password on both machines while
AL> setting up. Later, after you get it working, you can add IDs and
AL> change passwords if you wish.
This last step is not necessary in order to create a functional internetwork
between OS/2 and Windows 95 -- in fact, creating two machines with the same
user login will result in complaints from OS/2 (and possibly Win95) about
Messaging functions not working because "the user is already logged on
elsewhere".
