I'm hoping this coming year to have more time to spend on this
conference area. This past year was the year from...er...HECK!...
As it turns out, the admin has decided not to have me teach AP Computer
Science next year. I didn't want to teach two AP preps PLUS a third
prep, and they decided they couldn't afford to have me teach two AP
preps, which didn't fill out a full teaching load, and still pay me full
salary. Ah, well. So, I'll still have my AP Calculus (which I'm hoping
to do some prepping for during this summer) and my Honors Geometry, and
some third prep as yet undediced. I'm hoping for a lower level, regular
ability course (such as Algebra I) or a remedial course (such as our
Intermediate Algebra...lower ability second algebra course).
Hopefully, this will be less of a workload for me than I had this past
year.
