subject: fried the amplifier?

-> I really don't understand why since the 12v was less than the
-> 15v marked on the speaker containing the amplifier?
-> Really bummed me out they were nice! I've been brooding since I
-> did this. I can't really be angry with myself since I could've
-> tried the 12v first and never even had a chance to know they
-> worked (which might've been better if I thought they were
-> already broken?). Bummer, bummer, bummer!

There is NO standard for those Coaxial Wall Ward plugs as far as
Polarity goes. I suspect that particualrly 12 Volt wall wart had the
Opposite polarity of the one required for the speaker electronics.
