      Title: Chinese Rojak (Similar To Gado Gado)
 Categories: Oriental, Vegetables, Chilies, Fruits, Nuts
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    1/2    Pineapple; peeled, in wedges
      1    Green mango; peeled, seeded
           - in wedges
      1    Choko; peeled, sliced thin,
           - lightly salted
      1 sm Yam bean; peeled, in wedges
      2    Lebanese cucumbers; in
           - wedges
      1 bn Kangkong (water convolvulus)
           +=OE=+
      1 bn Watercress
      1    Soy beancake; cubed
    1/2 c  Roasted peanuts; rough
           - ground

MMMMM---------------------------SAUCE--------------------------------
      1 tb Tamarind pulp; reconstituted
           +=IN=+
    1/4 c  Water
      2 tb Kechap manis
      2 tb Chilli-garlic sauce
      1 tb Sugar
 
  Combine sauce ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves.
  Arrange the prepared fruit, vegetables, kangkong and
  beancake on a platter, pour over sauce, sprinkle with
  peanuts and serve immediately.
