(-: I actually saved the source to file when you posted it, and took the address off the origin line of the saved messages. But I don't like reposting large gobbets of source every time a FAQ comes around, especially since it isn't my source, and also especially since I seem to recall that you had a long discussion with Peter Fitzsimmons at the time and as a result made several improvements on the source that was originally posted. DM> > But thanks > for pointing these people my way. I went to a lot of trouble to figure > this out and am more than happy to give out those routines. DM> I'm glad to hear it. I'm happy to do C++ pros and cons lists, and answer compiler and API questions, but I've always tried to keep clear of getting into Pascal discussions (it's not a language that I use, whereas C++ is). It's good to have other people who will shoulder the burden of helping Pascal programmers. (-: About the most that I've done for Pascal questions is to take all of the information that people posted over the years and condense that into a list of the available Pascal compilers for OS/2, and where to find them ( I posted it here a while back, in response to a "what pascal?" question. ). But even that was done with much reluctance. I had hoped that John Heater would do something along those lines, since he has actually *used* some of the compilers mentioned. But he appears to have disappeared.
