Yep, I decided that a while back :)

 DW> what data you can with Amiback Tools or somesuch program first.

Funny thing is, ALL the data is perfectly intact, and I can recover it
all using the copy of DiskSalv 2 I have. The only problem is in organising
somewhere to back it up to. To that end I am trying to track the bits and
pieces down to fit a 3.5" IDE socket to the side of the case, to plug
a standard drive - which I can easily borrow - to back everything up onto
so I can reformat.....
