ml> there are other possible problems that may crop up, too... one, ml> recently mentioned, is the formation of many regions so as to ml> override other regions and push thru certain things that the RCs ml> are required to handle... now, whether this is actally what would ml> happen or not is another matter altogether... that would highly ml> depend on who the Z6C is and what they do to organize their zone... The real fact of the matter is that if Russia wanted to ahve their own zone, they could do it without anybodies permission, and not even really care if they were cut off from the rest of FidoNet... they are actually self suffiient. I used to carry the Russian echoes here (don't know why, just did) and the traffic that comes through was amazing. I'm sort of suprised it didn't happen already. If they broke off, formed their own zone, even decided to be entirely disconnected from the rest of FidoNet and still call themselves FidoNet, and stuck their finger up at the rest of Fidonet there really isn;t anything anybody could do about it. I think the fears are unfounded. Phil --- FMail/Win32 1.60 Netwo (1:267/169)* Origin: ==>== part of the NYCap/Adirondack SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 267/169 106/1 2000 633/267 |
