On NT4 server, in the IIS configuration on the directory security tab
Authentication control you disable anonymous and basic leaving only Windows
NT challenge response (NTLM and NTLM2) and you then try to login to your
website using frontpage from an NT client machine it works fine (it fails
for win95). If you then unbind netbios, logins from the NT client fail and
you can't login again until you allow basic auth (clear text) at which
point both the NT and Win95 frontpage clients can login.

   I have no idea what you mean.  FrontPage or the FPSE?  I've used both on
systems with NetBIOS over TCP/IP disabled and never noticed an auth difference.
