Call it leveraging if you like. It's not going to win Santos
 many customers.
Of course, when nobody buys his door because of his attitude, then
that will also be the customer's fault somehow.

The masses are happy. Can you and Santos understand that?
Gilmore didn't say the things Santos is accusing him of saying,
so Santos, forgive the expression, has his head up his rear end, to
come in here and demand anything.
All he's done is show what a jerk he is.

What has this got to do with anything? What rules were broken?
This happened in Usenet. There are no rules there. And Gary Gilmore
didn't say it anyway, so it's incredibly stupid to try to A) blame
him for it, and B) try to cause an echo revolt over it.
The irony is, by his actions here, Hector seems to have shown that
the person who *did* say these things to him was right.
And FWIW, anyone with THAT thin of a skin has no business in any
newsgroup. If you can't handle the flames, you shouldn't be there.
 Period. Even newbies know that.
CB> By there nature.. rules need exceptions.
BS. The echo moderator is God if his/her echo. If you don't like it,
leave. If you want no rules, go to Usenet. Hector couldn't deal with
it, so you'd better have a stronger constitution than his.
CB> By the way.. have you used the max internal .qwk functions.. or just
CB> external ones.. like silver express.. or blue wave?
CB> This question is actually pertaining to blue wave. I had been using
CB> one of the 2.x versions with max 3, and was doing an odd thing. It
CB> would lod the door up correctly but would react as if the user had
CB> 30 minutes -less- in thier account. odd huh.. but I think I'll go
CB> over to the blue wave echo for a more detailed querry about it.
Oh that takes nerve, blasting the echo and the moderator and then asking
 for help. HAH!
Sounds like you screwed up your door install. Have fun fixing it.
 Maybe Hector can help.
