By "VESA timer" I meant the minutes/hours settings available
under screen_savers|energy-saving.  Was I imprecise?  Sorry.  Did you think
I meant the minute-timer available on some monitors even when driven by a
dumb opsys?

Someone tell me which savers are turnoff-aware.  I tried one of the early
Bezier ones - "curves and colors," I think.
