MN>Welcome back. Looks like you're getting the bugs out.
Hopefully. I have a few other problems with some areas including
internet mail. This windows 95 has a truncated DOS system which
limits some of the areas I really used. No Memmaker, and insofar as
the number of files in DOS about a fifth. I would put in DOS6.22 but I
am afraid it might mess up the way it operates. If I put back Windows
for Work Groups which I was using I could get along just as well, but
the new versions of Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Works it has are so
far ahead of what I had I am reluctant to go that route. If I
want any other software I'll have to go to 32bit because I seem
squeezed for space in DOS despite a 6 gigabite hard drive. Seems
crazy. Maybe there is a way around it, but when I am more familiar with
the system I can try a few other things. If I just run one programme
at a time in DOS I'll be alright for now. I really bought this for
better speed on the Internet and it's graphics, and it is impressive
over what I had. Enough of this nonsense. If you lust after something
it can cause problems, and this has.
Have you had your fangs into anything interesting since I've been
away?
