subject: Wierd errors with a Practical

I can't remember if I posted this here before, so I'll do it again. (this
time I have a little more info too....)
I have a Practical Peripherals PM288MT II V.34 that I bought recently, and
it has problems uploading and downloading with Zmodem, and downloading with
a few other protocalls (if I recall correctly). When I try to upload using
ZModem it will get part of the way through the file then start "Sending
Position" errors and keep jumping back to the first 5 or 6K. When I'm
recieving with ZModem (or Zed Zap for that matter) it will usually get
through the file fine, but at the end it seems to hand up waiting for the
last block. All the data gets through fine, but the last block that says
that the transmission is through never seems to get through. (All of these
errors happen more frequently on larger files, often 1-2K files get through
fine.)
I'm running it (it's external) on a 16550 UART with the proper serial cable,
(I checked for the proper continuity on the pins) and I'm using Qmodem, and
Terminate 4.00 both registered. I've set it up for RTS/CTS handshaking with
XON/XOFF turned off. The errors appear on any connection. I've also tried
it with BNU (Fossil 5 driver) and it does exactly the same thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and again, I'm sorry if I posted
a message like this before, but my problem hasn't been solved yet.
Thanks,
-Josha
