This sounds to be as good a reason as any other I've heard. But if this
IS in fact the case. Why don't bass boaters just move up to deck boats? They
are a lot smoother than bass boats and have more deck room as well.

Well, in an earlier paragraph, (that didn't get quoted) I had made the
dissclaimer, "Most, not all".
