> MP> They also air some British comedies that are quite good. >When you say, "They." I trust you speak of PBS? Would I be too bold to ask >your location? I've heard of a few X-Pats subscribing to grey-market satellite >signals just to receive CBC. (Canadian Broadcasting Company) In Kentucky. It should be in the tagline. ;-) Here, we have a network called KET (Kentucky Educational Television) that reaches the whole state. They are "affiliated" with PBS, but I think they pay for some of the British shows outside of PBS. I don't know if one could get CBC here or not. > MP> No, I missed that. I think that it is on here while I am at work. Do > MP> you mean the First Lady of Canada? Mothers can be like that. ;-) > >No, just the "First lady on" the program. I don't think Dr. Mcgraw [sp?] >harvests too many guests from North of the boarder. Probably not. Dr. Phil's show is pretty tame, compared to some of the other talk shows. They harvest most of their guests from the trailer parks, I think. > >Chronic Pain echo. > MP> Is there still such an echo? >Yup... You'll likely see a bunch of Wayne C. and me going on about >automobiles, electronics, and self defence. Got-ta fill the vacuum with >*som'n'*. I may look into adding that one here.
