     Since I've never used a database before, I can't really give
you much along the way of recommendation, but I'd certainly be
interested in beta testing it.  I think it could be useful to
have the ship's complete onboard inventory listed right down to
spare fuses, as well as on screen reminders of items that will
require replacement or maintenance at a predetermimed time, such
as: flares, beer, engine parts, etc.  However, these reminders
really should be given as politely as possible!   I guess it
might also be useful (?) to have a financial page where the owner
can do all his accounting to determine just how much it REALLY
costs to own a boat! :^)
