To suggest that civilization and equity are mutually exclusive is pretty
ridiculous. Its always the same whenever someone criticizes the way things
are
in the U$A - "hell, just move to africa then, smartass!" I haven't denied
that
I am a part of this culture, I am obviously part of this technological
culture
(considering we are talking on a bbs net carried on the bbs that I run).
US Capital's tentacles are stretched worldwide. Vietnam, Kampuchea, Mexico,
Columbia, all of these places are slaves to the yankee dollar. In places
where
there are attempts at self-determination, like Chiapas, the US dollar is
there
to buy tanks to stop it.
Because of that, and because I had the fortune to be born here, I have the
opportunity to subvert from the inside.

If you are referring to the Communist Bloc countries, you're right, I cannot
defend them. Nor would I ever want to, since I am not an advocate of
communism. I will take issue with your statement that those countries were
founded on an 'everything belongs to everyone' principle. In those countries,
everything belonged to the government - certainly not what I'm talking about.
