I'm not sure I understand... what do you mean by 2 char lines? is this
every 16 raster lines?
Does sound good though.

[... Census ...]
ES> That's a great idea! I've never seen anything like that before, would

I fully intend to... may take a few issues to get it totally up to date
though... but if a jobs worth doing, it's worth doing. Doing well, that
is :)

ES> Basically I've created a way of having a 2 voice digi player, sort of
ES>like the MOD files on amiga/pc. It would be good to add some SID voices
ES>as well, and make it a complete package, but I know nothing about
 ES>players at all..

Tell me more! What channels are you using, what sort of raster time is it
taking up, etc...

A SID player is basically in two parts - the part that handles the Order of
the music, ie: the score, and the part that uses that info to adjust the
registers. That's all pretty straightforword. The more complex stuff
involves special effects like ; pulse waving, vibrato, filter waving,
arpeggios etc.

ES> I hope you develop a cartridge type wedge, as software ones dont last
 ES>long once you load a program (:

Ideas are being thrown around... like : a replacement ROM for the 64
similiar to Jiffy DOS. As the routine is pretty small, it may be possible
to trim it down so it can fit into the cassette buffer, and the cartridge
is another option...

ES>done a pretty good outfit for it. Full screen upscroller with animated
ES>font etc. You know, little bouncing balls & the like (:

Yep :)

Next.
