 At the big car company where I work one of the most important programs
 we have is Netscape. We use internet for all kinds of information
 search and retreival. It is becomming an essential tool, much like the
 telephone. So the good consequence is your students (and you) 
 can get a job. The bad consequence? It's expensive. The big car company
 spends a lot of money on computer training service companies to 
 teach people how to use Netscape. If you are working for such a 
 training company, the expense (internet connection & software) 
 is necessary. If you are a big car company, the expense is huge 
 and hard to justify.
