IRC-II is the main/most current Unix IRC program.  I think mIRC is
fairly new too... I forget the date on mine, but it was within the last
few months.

I haven't really had a chance to use it much, to be honest.  What with
setting up a new computer, trying to finish the book and keep up with
mail, well...

I've never found an Aussie channel on any of them so far.  :-(
Of course time of day makes a big difference too.  And that's something
that really messes up being able to chat with anyone in Oz.  Fer
instance, it's 12:30 in the afternoon in SA right now, not exactly the
best time to find anyone online from Oz.  When night time in Oz rolls
around it's daytime here and that doesn't work out to well for checking
out IRC.  :-(
