Yes, I agree with you. 

I gave you valid information about UART potential transfer
speeds, you offered a book as valid contradictory evidence that
I was wrong, I told you the book was wrong. You did not write
the book. Why you chose to take this as a personal insult I do
not recall. Maybe I was 'unkind' in my presentation but I think
you really should move beyond this, it's begining to seem very
petty.
