| subject: | RE: alert me when there is life in here! |
Hi August Fancy meeting you here :) -> Hmmm.. I could suggest an alternate way to access this echo so you could do -> just that! Ya, ya, I know.....get it to come to my e-mail. Been there, done that. Thanks, but no thanks. -> -> KW> For those who don't know, I got a new camera for Christmas. -> KW> It's an Olympus Stylus 410 Digital. I've only played with it a -> KW> bit, as I really resisted having it (it was a gift and I kinda -> KW> wanted it to go back to the store). -> -> Oh boy.. I hope you and Ron didn't fight over the acquisition! What a nice -> piece of hardware. It is, but I was perfectly happy with what I had, for what I was using it for. I'd rather have seen the money in the bank. But, of course, as I use it more, I do see the improvement in the photos. :) Let's face it.....I just don't like change. -> -> -> KW> But now, I have -> KW> 4 cameras to choose from, every time I get in the mood to -> KW> play..... -> -> Wow. FOUR camers. What a nice luxury. It is, and I find each one of them handles something better than the others. The thing is, once I put film in the older cameras, I feel I need to remember to use it up before it expires, and with the digitals around, sometimes the film pictures are old stuff by the time I see them. For example, there are Christmas pictures of my grandson still on the film that is less than half used up. He'll likely be a year old by the time I see those Christmas pictures. I still have my Canon AE-1 Program in -> storage unused for over year. Perhaps I should snap the shutter and release -> the tension on it. The film in it is up to the 3 or 4th pic only. My goodness. I guess I'm not the only one who might have expired film, if you don't get busy. -> -> Looking forward to see some of your "visions" with your new camera! They are posted in the files section of the Yahoo Photo Gallery. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PhotoGallery/files/Karen%27s%20spot/ Karen --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Fanciful Online, San Diego, CA (1:202/801) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/801 300 1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
