The point is: what are you going to do about it?
And, your law of averages is a little slanted.. most people will fall below 
the
line, even more people will be dangerously on the line of half-way stablity, 
while a very few reap the benefits of economic success. Only a handful will 
ever have enough to effect the power hierarchy.
