subject: Win98 multi-boot?

JH> Getting lazy here. Does anyone know if Win98 will support multi-boot
JH> configurations in config.sys and autoexec.bat like DOS 6.2 did?

Yes, no probs. If you want it to boot Dos only without starting
Windoze, though, you'll need to edit MSDOS.SYS. It's a text file,
so any text editor will do it, although you'll have to remove the
read-only and hidden attributes before editing, and replace them
afterwards. Under the heading "[Options]", place a line that says
"BootGUI=0" . Then, in the sections of Autoexec.bat that you want
Win to start in, make the last line "Win".

Cheers
