From: "Frank Haber" URK=URP=Schreck. Why don't you just borrow a clean HD from IT and try an NT-class operating system the right way? Clean install is the right way, but burn no bridges. And get more memory. Starters, IMHO would be 96MB for upgrading to 98, 256M for Win2k. You may still see a slowdown with that old a machine. You'll simply be pushing too much opsys around for a 266.
