This is an especially glaring Klahnism.  As the thread progressed, Klahn
made claims that Buchanan had a knife, that Buchanan attacked Shearer with
a knife, that he would have killed Shearer if the police had not caught him
in time, and that he had a knife in his possession WHEN the police caught him.

You know Klahn well enough to know that it is all crap.  (1) He has been
unable to come up with any indication of any such knife.  (2) He now knows
that Buchanan did not actually attack Shearer at all, didn't even go into
the house looking for him, even though Buchanan was carrying a gun and was
willing to wave it around to help get away.  (3) He has now been exposed as
having made up the whole story about the police catching Buchanan just in
time, because in fact Buchanan drove away, Buchanan checked himself into a
mental facility the next day, and several days later he briefly left the
facility in order to surrender himself to police when there was an arrest
warrant out for him.  And (4) in light of 1 and 3 above, Klahn's fourth
claim is just a second order made-up "fact" added on top of two other
made-up "facts."

But when all of that was exposed, his defense was priceless!  It gives a
real insight into the twisted mendacity in Klahn's head!  He made up all of
the knife stuff, because he needed SOMETHING to say and he didn't yet know
about the gun!  Can you imagine ANYONE thinking that is a defense rather
than a further INDICTMENT of their character?
