BG> In photoshop place a check in the constrain proportions box found in BG> the resize option menu. Setting one side will automatically set the BG> other. I know, but it's the proportion between 3072x2084 and 1600x1200 that is the problem. 1600x1200 from the Minolta X20 makes a pic that fits in everywhare without any adjustment but the 3072x2084 from the Canon 300D make a pic that is wider and then I have to do some cutting to make it fit and it's very difficult to do that so no black edges shows. BG> I believe your DV video is 720 by 560 lines in PAL, so you might want BG> to trim your pictures to fit the frame at that size. Irfanview has a BG> great batch setting for adjusting a pile of pictures at once. (Always BG> use copies of your originals by the way,:) I always do. If you calculate the ratio between 720 and 560 (720 devided by 560) you get 1,28 and if you take 1600 and 1200 you get 1,3 and that is pretty close to 1,28. But when you take 3072 and 2084 you get 1,5 and that means that the pic is wider and have to be cut to fit when 1,3 seems to be the "normal" ratio between hight and widh to fit in almost everywhare without any cutting. So, what can I do? I can't adjust it in the camera, there is no settings to do it and it's hard work to cut and adjust every pic. //Bj”rn ---* Origin: .
