SK> To all teachers out there: What are your summer plans?
Well, I am out, but I go for an inservice on the 12th and start summer school 
on the 19th.  This is the second year we have used the computer lab in summer 
school--I don't teach keyboarding due to lack of time, so I focus on 
activities that support other classrooms--ie-reports, stories, etc..  Our 
summer school is supported by Title I, I know our students would not have the 
money to pay tuition.  For some, this will be the deciding moment whether 
they will go into High School this fall.  
 
Other than that I am riding bikes w/son--we work up to 20 miles/day so we can 
ride to nearby mountains to get in some off-road fun.  Then my son's 
Christmas present keeps us all busy--his lab requires extensive walking to 
keep him from eating the trees in the yard.
