Of course.
1) Speed. It's true for Visual Basic 5 too.
2) Really OOP. Native components (and OCX support).
3) Native Database Links to a lot of different SQL Servers and desktop 
databases ( Oracle, IBM DB/2, MS SQL Server, Sybase SQL Server, Borland 
Interbase WG Server, Borland dBase IV+, Borland Paradox, MS FoxPro etc.).
ps. Native always signs Really fast, error-free and powerful features.
