The problem with this is that accidents are, by definition,
unpredictable. You may have a lower probability of being hit by
a car on that bucolic country road but you may also be more prone
to daydreaming, thinking you are safe. That long downhill curve
now has pea-gravel that wasn't there last time you rode here and
the next thing you know you're committed to a serious face-plant.
