OK here's another three.
1) In VB, you are allowed to compile an EXE with errors which only become
apparant at run time. In Delphi, due to the structured nature of the
language, the number which slip through are *MUCH* reduced.
2) Delphi is based on Object Pascal a structured object orientated language
which will enable you to learn good programming habits right from the
start.
3) Delphi is better at creating EXEs
3) It is easier to use the API from within Delphi. (In VB you have to muck
around with a text file of API function definitions)
3) The 32-bit API help file is not included with VB4 (don't know about VB5)
but it is with Delphi
How many more 3's do you need??
Those are just off the top of my head. I'm sure people have thought up
better reasons.
DON'T BUY VB!
