subject: Ver4.20 telnet & dialup

Hello PETER,

PC> I have an older Wildcat ver 4.20 and I was wondering if I can
PC> get a program somewhere to make it a telnet access, as well
 PC> dial-up?

PC> Two friends and a few users have made donations, and I am
PC> donating my old BBS program along with some games to the
PC> effort, which must have a decision by the end of January 2009.

PC> Not interested in some $500 .oo BBS program, as I am retired
PC> medically on a pension .... so the old one will have to do.

I was just reading in the Synchronet echo that someone there has just set up
synchronet as a telnet server for Spitfire and from what I read it's working
well with four nodes. I'd imagine it can be done with Wildcat as well.

Synchronet is open source and freely available at

http://synchro.net

 Ttyl :-),
         Al

... Ask not for whom the bell tolls; let the machine get it.
