What to buy's a cool scene. Dig it!

  Watcom C/C++. Before buying it, though, wait until the 11.0a fix
comes out, because there are so many bugs in version 11 of the
compiler as to make it largely useless to many who have it. I have
version 10.6, and am completely happy with it. If you can find a used
copy of 10.x, buy it. You won't be sorry.
  As a second choice, though, and if money is an object, I would
download DJGPP from ftp.delorie.com (or some other ftp site, such as
Simtel or X2FTP). It's free and a good compiler.
