Hello Bill!
05 Jan 15 09:50, you wrote to Michiel van der Vlist:
BM> z1 is: domain fidonet c:\\fd\\outbound.1 1
Zone 1 (as it is your primary address) will be just c:\\fd\\outbound.
BM> z2 is: domain fidonet c:\\fd\\outbound.2 2
Zone 2 would be c:\\fd\\outbound.002.
BM> z3 is: domain fidonet c:\\fd\\outbound.3 3
Zone 3 would be c:\\fd\\outbound.003.
BM> z4 is: domain fidonet c:\\fd\\outbound.4 4
Zone 4 would be c:\\fd\\outbound.004.
BM> z316 is: domain whispernet c:\\fd\\outbound.13C 316
This is dependent on whether or not your tosser supports FTN domains. If it
does, this would be c:\\fd\\whispernet.13c. If your tosser doesn't support
FTN domains, what you have listed is correct.
BM> z618 is: domain micronet c:\\fd\\outbound.26A 618
This would be c:\\fd\\micronet.26a if your tosser supports FTN domains.
Otherwise, it is correct.
Here's a quote from my binkd.cfg:
#
# Your FTN domains:
# domain []
# or
# domain alias-for
# First specified domain sets as default domain for the 3D/4D addresses.
#
domain fidonet g:\\mail\\fidonet 1
domain league10.org g:\\mail\\league10 1
domain league10 alias-for league10.org
domain advnet g:\\mail\\advnet 1
domain zenet g:\\mail\\zenet 1
domain linuxnet g:\\mail\\linuxnet 1
domain stn g:\\mail\\stn 1
domain stnnet alias-for stn
domain pascalnt g:\\mail\\pascal 1
domain pascalnet alias-for pascalnt
domain pascal alias-for pascalnt
domain pascal-net alias-for pascalnt
domain justanet g:\\mail\\justxnet 1
domain justaxnet alias-for justanet
domain justxnet alias-for justanet
domain micronet g:\\mail\\micronet 1
#
My tosser uses the hex zone number extensions for all domains other than the
primary address, so mail for Micronet is placed into g:\mail\micronet.26a,
where BinkD finds it and sends it on its way. I also use the BinkD alias-for
feature to correct for sysops that define their ftn domains differently.
