LACONI (DUCATI FILA) SETS PROVISIONAL POLE IN WET MISANO SUPERBIKE SESSION

Misano Adriatico (Italy), Friday 16 April 2004: Ducati Fila's Regis Laconi
led the field in today's opening qualifying session for the San Marino
World Superbike Championship round at Misano Adriatico, which was held in
dreadful conditions. Team-mate James Toseland was not so fortunate, the
British rider unable to get to grips with the wet surface and having to
settle for thirteenth quickest time.
