subject: Patches (Badges)

GC> They have officially been mailed now and you should get
GC> them in the next week or so.
I got them Thursday, but have been sort of busy and didn't get a post off to
you as quick as I should have. Thursday night was Roundtable, last night was
getting ready for the Cub and Family campout, and right now I'm running late
to get on the road for that. This will be my third Scouting campout in four
weekends, so I'm about camped out (no pun intended).
> we were going on a 10 (plus) mile hike and forgot to bring my hiking boots.
GC> Oh oh - Now that is bad! :)
For about a week, as far as my feet go. The Chiggars are about gone now, so
that helps.

 GC> Hope he likes them!
He did, along with my older son also. They will go to the next Cub Scout
meeting for show and tell. Thanks very much.

GC> Get the needle out and Just Do It! I have found that
GC> it takes me about 20-30 minutes per patch on average.
GC> So don't leave it too late!:)
I know, as soon as I can find an hour a week to devote to it. :-) I may let
the next door neighbor jumpstart a few of the patches for me with her sewing
machine if I don't get some spare time soon.
GC> The only badges I wish to trade for now are ones with Lord Baden-Powell
GC> on them from anywhere in the world - for any purpose of scouting.
 > I'll try to remember that, and be on the lookout for them.
GC> I do appreciate that! Same goes for anyone else reading this mail!
Would you want any others just for trading purposes if I find something?
However, if we ever get a new run of our Middle Tennessee Council patch made
I will send you one. Just put it on your pack, and you will be able to spot
it quickly.
 GC> Enjoy!
Thanks again, and you too.
Gotta run to the campout, I think the rest of the family is (finally) ready
now.
