Hello Chris,
Welcome into Fido Parrots, I'm sure you'll soon here that as well from
our local friendly moderator, Kathy Johnson.  As to it seeming fairly
empty in here, well, it's rather like the ocean tides in here, at times
the daily packets are 30+ messages a day, and at times it drops down to
10 or fewer.  This time of year seems to be the slowest.  Hang in
there, it can, and often does, get quite lively.   
BTW-noticed the word "aviary" in your post.  What types of birds are
you breeding?
