Yeah, the price of the IF-10A was by far the cheapest of those tested. I
doubt very much if price entered into their ratings factor, though, since the
top-rated Rainsoft was by far the most expensive.

Capacity was second only to the 2nd rated (and Best Buy) Ametek Kleen-Plus.
Organics were rated excellent; lead was rated fair; taste was rated very
good; and flow rate was rated "high". Parasites was not check marked, which
means it's not certified as "absolute one micron."
Just looking at all the ratings, it looks like lead and parasites are what
led to the IF-10A's relatively poor score. Also, in the comments it says,
"Does not claim to remove lead. Hard to change filter."

The Rainsoft costs a whopping $500, so it SHOULD get an almost perfect score.
